2009 Habitat Build
We had a successful, rewarding and fun Moye White LLP Habitat for Humanity Build Day on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Our team of 12 volunteers (who put in some serious labor framing a duplex located off of South Broadway and Evans) were:
JB (our very own expert carpenter/framer - did you know he actually used to frame houses for a living?)
John Moye (fearless of heights, spending most of the day atop a ladder doing exterior sheathing)
Pam Moye (skirting and hammer queen)
Scott Bauer (member of the heavy lifting fire wall team - ask him how a fire wall is constructed and what happens if there is a fire)
Trish Rogers (a/k/a "Chop Saw Sally")
Nicole Lucius (assistant to "Chop Saw Sally")
Lorni Sharrow (interior framer and hammer queen, and has the blood blisters to prove it - see picture)
Sue Lehigh (exterior sheathing expert supervisor)
Ed Lehigh (assistant to exterior sheathing expert supervisor)
Mary Koltze (interior framer and hammer queen & provider of team sustenance)
Rich Cavaliero (member of the heavy lifting fire wall team and expert interior framer)
Jennifer Gokenbach (exterior sheather and power saw operator cutting gypsum board)
