Mimi Larsen is not afraid to let her voice be heard. Long-time active in public policy formation and politics, Mimi understands that she needs to get her point across to be an effective client advocate. As a transaction attorney, Mimi focuses her practice on complex real estate matters, energy and natural resources law, commercial matters, and regulatory compliance.

As part of her real estate practice, Mimi represents natural resource development companies, commercial real estate development companies, financial institutions, owners, developers, and investors in development, land use matters, leasing and financing. With Mimi’s background in energy and natural resources law, she addresses the diverse nature of environmental issues that come into play in complex commercial transactions.

Energetic and determined, Mimi offers strategic counsel to clients to negotiate permitting, zoning, entitlements, agreements, and other complex real property-related matters, providing project management oversight and guidance. She performs due diligence, and risk management assessments, and drafts/negotiates loans and other real estate documents.

With her public policy experience and background in governmental representation, she is often called on by clients to guide them through complex state and federal regulatory processes. She has represented clients in federal and state rulemaking and policy development concerning air and water quality, transportation, aviation and waste disposal matters. Mimi has assisted clients in drafting legislation, and has testified before legislative committees.

Mimi has consulted on local and national campaigns and has worked with governmental entities across the midwest and southwest.
