As an environmental attorney, Paul understands that effective legal and policy counsel is critical to those in the manufacturing and natural resources development sector. For nearly two decades, Paul has represented both business and governmental clients before State and federal regulatory agencies, legislatures, and the courts.
Paul’s practice emphasizes air and water quality, mining, alternative energy, facility siting, Brownfields redevelopment, CERCLA, and water supply permitting. He has worked with mining and manufacturing clients, governmental authorities, independent power producers and energy companies to promote and defend their interests. Paul also has an active governmental affairs component to his practice that helps clients stay abreast of the changing complexion of environmental law.
As an integral component of his practice, Paul advocates for the responsible operation, acquisition, provisioning, clean up, and management of clients’ operations and interests. In conjunction, Paul also has handled unique land use issues, including the real estate, regulatory, and business acquisition aspects of manufacturing and traditional and alternative energy project development.
