On October 25th, Moye White hosted experts on C-PACE financing and green roofs. The panel titled, "Saving Green by Going Green: The Economics of C-PACE Financing and Green Roofs" outlined recent developments in the law relating to green roofs and C-PACE financing in Colorado.
The session explained how to cut costs by incorporating green roofs and C-PACE financing into projects and developments. Panelists discussed Denver's ordinance relating to green roofs, green roof engineering and proposed changes to the green roofs ordinance, as well as explained the legal and practical framework of C-PACE financing.
The panelists included Genevieve Sherman, head of New Markets and Partnerships at Greenworks Lending; Andy Creath, principal at Green Roofs of Colorado, LLC; Courtney McRickard, partner at ZeroSixThree Design and Development; and Michael Hughes, principal at Hughes Collaboration.
