(Denver, Colo., December 5, 2013) - Moye White LLP name partner and renowned corporate attorney, Ted White, has been engaged by Fahr LLC, an umbrella entity for prominent investor and philanthropist Tom Steyer’s extensive business, policy, political, and philanthropic efforts, to act as Fahr’s Managing Partner. During the term of this engagement, White will divide his time between Fahr’s home base in San Francisco and his law firm, based in Denver.
Steyer retained Moye White because of White’s proven abilities as a corporate attorney and community leader. Specifically, White’s expertise with complex business structures and transactions, as well as his track record with charitable organizations, make him uniquely qualified to advance the goals and shape the business and organizational structure of Fahr LLC’s wide-ranging set of entities. The organization is largely focused on accelerating the country’s transition to a clean energy future.
“This engagement is a chance to expand the reach of Moye White LLP, while also promoting policies that will lead to new business opportunities, job creation, and a sustainable clean energy future for all Americans,” said Ted White.
White’s role as Managing Partner of Fahr LLC is the latest in a series of engagements for Moye White to provide ‘virtual in-house counsel’ services to client companies. This is demonstrative of a larger trend, also known as ‘legal process outsourcing,’ in which law firms are retained by client companies to engage directly in their organizations in order to grow strategically. “I am excited by the opportunity for Moye White to offer innovative strategies and test best practices on a national scale,” said White.
