(Denver, Colo., March 10, 2014) - Denver law firm, Moye White LLP, has announced that Timothy M. Swanson joined the firm as an associate.
Swanson’s practice focuses primarily on commercial bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Moye White, Swanson practiced with an AmLaw 100 law firm headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. He has appeared on behalf of a variety of commercial and lending clients in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Colorado, and Wisconsin.
“Tim has significant experience in business bankruptcy cases and a strong background in commercial litigation,” said Moye White Partner Jim Burghardt. “I am delighted that he is joining our practice in these areas. He will be a tremendous asset to the firm and its clients.”
Swanson regularly assists lending clients in matters involving workouts, creditors’ rights, and loan documentation. He has extensive experience with Chapter 11 cases, having drafted and argued a wide variety of pleadings on issues arising in complex commercial bankruptcies. He also has been involved in appellate matters.
Swanson is an avid outdoorsman, golfer, and triathlete. He completed his first full-distance Ironman in Cozumel, Mexico in December, 2013.
