(Denver, Colo., November 30, 2017) - Moye White partner Dominick Sekich has been named to the Denver Business Journal’s inaugural list of “Who’s Who in Impact Investing.” Who’s Who honorees were listed in the publication in November and were recognized at a special reception at Denver’s Curtis Hotel.
Sekich has been very involved in social impact investing, an emerging field that focuses on how to finance projects for public benefit (retrofits, financing nonprofit buildings, affordable housing, green buildings, renewable energy projects, conservation projects, etc.) by developing new sources of capital and financing tools. This work dovetails with his business and real estate practice, where Sekich has embraced sustainability in areas such as agriculture, ag tech, “green” building principles, energy conservation and environmentally sustainable development.
The Denver Business Journal partnered with Denver’s Impact Finance Center to create the first ever "Who's Who in Impact Investing” list. The collaboration is part of an effort to build a robust directory of impact investing professionals in the Rocky Mountain region to help advance the impact investing movement. The directory aims to ensure that those looking to take their first steps into impact investing have the ability to connect with qualified individuals and businesses quickly and efficiently.
