Denver-Based Law Firm Continues New Year Growth
(Denver, Colo., January 16, 2020) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce the expansion of the firm’s Colorado presence with the addition of Foundry Legal. The group includes Foundry Legal founder Larkin Reynolds, who joins as partner and will anchor the firm’s technology, privacy and cybersecurity practices, and associate Ezra Kramer.
"The addition of the Foundry Legal team represents a strategic move by the firm to deepen our capabilities in privacy and data security, as these issues are an ever-increasing concern for clients," said Managing Partner Tom List. "We value Larkin and Ezra’s in-depth experience advising entrepreneurs in this area. Their substantive knowledge will fit our business practice particularly well."
Reynolds is a technology-focused advisor, helping small and large business clients navigate complex transactions from beginning to end, including the maze of privacy and data security laws. Her practice blends commercial and technology transactions in the emerging company space with data privacy compliance and breach response. Prior to entering private practice, Reynolds worked with the Brookings Institution and the Lawfare Institute. She then practiced at an international law firm advising on cross-border transactions, historic data incident response engagements, and sensitive national security matters for both large multinationals and individuals. She also previously worked in the payments industry as associate counsel with Visa Inc.
Reynolds is an active member of the Denver/Front Range startup community and regularly speaks on issues affecting startup technology businesses. She is a recognized voice in the blockchain legal industry and advises several blockchain ventures on how to navigate complex securities and banking regulations. She received her law degree from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degree in international relations from New York University. In addition, she serves as an adjunct professor at Denver University and maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on victims of human trafficking and veterans.
Kramer works extensively with early-stage companies in matters involving equity distribution among founders, early-stage financing and exempt offerings, entity selection and corporate structuring, founder and employee compensation, co-branding relationships, and complex regulatory compliance. He also has a passion for prosecuting trademarks and is a relentless advocate for his clients when dealing with the USPTO.
Kramer’s experience advising startups gives him a keen understanding of the challenges early companies face. Kramer earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his undergraduate in humanities from Florida State University. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
