Moye White Partner Joins Solar and Energy Storage Nonprofit
(Denver, Colo., March 4, 2020) – Moye White is pleased to announce partner Zaki Robbins has joined the board of the Colorado Solar and Storage Association (COSSA), a nonprofit organization focusing on expanding Colorado’s solar and energy storage industries.
As a member of the 15-member board, Robbins will help oversee the organization’s strategic priorities, budget and bylaws. COSSA represents and leads a wide range of solar and energy storage-related businesses including, manufacturers, distributors, dealers, installers, integrators, financiers, developers, utilities, entrepreneurs, educators and others.
Robbins focuses his practice on a broad range of corporate and finance matters, with a particular emphasis on serving the advanced energy industry. His experience with the firm has included facilitating mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock sales, supply agreements, contract negotiations, project finance, development and construction, compliance, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters. He also handles matters involving energy generation and storage, construction, distribution, and investment and finance.
In addition to his legal practice, Robbins is involved in the community as an advisory board member to Back on My Feet Denver, a nonprofit organization that combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources. He was also a member of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s 2019 Impact Denver program.
Robbins is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
