(Denver, Colo., October 20, 2021) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce partner Garrett Graff served as a panelist where he outlined the latest regulatory updates in the hemp industry at the pre-conference forum of MJBizCon, an annual conference hosted by Marijuana Business Daily, in Las Vegas on October 19.
At his panel presentation, Regulatory Roulette: Federal and State Updates, Graff discussed the regulatory uncertainty facing hemp farmers and outlined the most up-to-date regulatory changes. He and fellow panelists dove into the patchwork of state CBD regulations, including those mandated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
In his practice, Graff specializes in representing clients in a variety of regulated sectors, including cannabis (both marijuana and hemp), food/beverage and alcohol. Specific to the cannabis industry, Graff represents clients on successfully obtaining licenses in numerous states in both competitive and noncompetitive licensure processes. He also represents hemp companies across the country and world on matters including import/export, cultivation, processing and manufacturing, distribution, and navigating legislative and regulatory frameworks.
