Firm Joined RMI and McKinstry for the Virtual Event
(Denver, Colo., Aug. 26, 2021) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce its Advanced Energy team hosted the third in its Decarbonizing America's Buildings webinar series, Zero Over Time: Retrofitting America’s Building Stock, on Wednesday, August 25.
Co-hosted by RMI and McKinstry Co., the webinar focused on how retrofitting existing buildings instead of tearing them down and replacing them can help meet our carbon reduction goals. Panelists explained why retrofitting is a more environmentally friendly option that requires a multi-disciplinary solution.
The panelists also discussed rethinking asset management, reducing a building portfolio’s carbon footprint over time without breaking the bank, and financing and paying for optimizing buildings as they’re retrofitted.
Bobby W. Dishell, an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Advanced Energy teams, served as a panelist at the webinar. He was joined by Sarah Moore, director of engineering at McKinstry; Adam Parker, REALIZE market consultant at RMI; and Boris Piskun, founder of GreenPACE Capital.
