DENVER (October 31, 2022) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce partner Jack W. Berryhill participated as a panelist at the 16th Annual Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Colorado Conference on Friday, October 28. The conference was powered by Colorado Bar Association Continuing Legal Education (CBA-CLE), the non-profit educational expansion of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
He spoke on a Mediation Ethics panel, where he offered his mindful opinion of how ethical issues practitioners should respond if faced with certain circumstances in their mediation practice. The panel was presented with several fictional scenarios and was asked to provide best practice examples of how to respond in these situations. All potential ethical issues raised are derived from both the Model Standards of Conduct for Mediators and the Colorado Dispute Resolution Act
He was joined on the panel by Rogelio Hernández-Flores, Founder and Managing Director for Beyond Borders Mediation and Holly Panetta, Attorney, Mediator, Educator at Peak Empowerment LLC. The panel was presented by the Ethics Committee of the Mediation Association of Colorado
Berryhill’s practice focuses on litigation, negotiation, and settlement of complex family law issues and he is one of only a handful of “go-to” mediators with this focus in the Denver area.
