DENVER (March 15, 2022) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce Katie Kamenetsky has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Section.
In her practice, Kamenetsky guides both buyers and sellers through purchase and sales transactions, including equity and asset purchases, and sales and mergers; drafts various purchase and sale agreements, and reviews title commitments and policies; and advises clients concerning contract and title issues. She also performs due diligence concerning sales contracts, lease agreements, brokerage policies and addenda, short-term rental permit applications, real estate licensing submissions, and municipal zoning and density requirements.
Prior to joining Moye White, Kamenetsky gained experience as an associate attorney at a real estate-focused firm and as in-house claims counsel for Fidelity National Title. As an associate, she focused on resolving disputes between buyers, sellers, agents, homeowners associations and title companies regarding seller nondisclosures, purchase contract issues, earnest money disputes, HOA disputes, easements and chain of title issues. At the title insurance company, she managed a large volume of owner’s and lender’s title insurance claims and lawsuits. Kamenetsky also worked as an intern for both the Colorado Court of Appeals and the U.S. House of Representatives.
Kamenetsky earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School, where she served as the vice president of finance for the Student Bar Association and Banking and Securities Law Society. She earned her undergraduate degree in business administration, majoring in finance, from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel. Kamenetsky is fluent in Russian and proficient in Hebrew, and is currently admitted to practice in both Colorado and the District of Columbia.
