Moye White LLP is pleased to announce real estate attorney Bobby Dishell has been elected to serve on the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) Executive Committee as Treasurer.
Dishell’s responsibilities as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee will include overseeing the District’s financial records through the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer, and helping lead public affairs, external relations, and legislative work, in addition to other duties. In addition to his Treasurer duties, Dishell will continue to serve on the Finance and Planning Committee and Performance Committee, Chair the Audit Committee and Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEV) Ad Hoc Committee, and serve as a fiduciary Trustee for the RTD Salaried Employee retirement plans, which include the Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Defined Contribution Plan.
RTD provides public transportation in eight counties including all of Boulder, Broomfield, Denver and Jefferson counties, parts of Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, and a small portion of Weld County connecting residents through an affordable, safe, clean, reliable, accessible, and customer friendly community-oriented transportation network. RTD serves the transportation needs of over 3.08 million people. RTD has assets of over $7.5 billion, liabilities of over $3.75 billion, and an operating budget of over $800 million.
Dishell’s law practice focuses on real estate matters at the intersection of renewable energy and the built environment. He represents clients in transactional matters including industrial acquisition, disposition and development, and work related to multifamily assets. He is passionate about advanced energy matters and regularly advises clients on solar leasing and development.
