Chris is a member of the firm’s Trial Section and represents clients in civil trials, appeals, and government investigations. He has successfully represented sophisticated clients in federal and state courts in Colorado and throughout the country, in arbitration proceedings, and in high-stakes government investigations. His experience includes drafting and arguing motions in court, taking and defending depositions, preparing and examining witnesses at trial, authoring appellate briefs, and managing complex civil cases from inception through appeal. Recently, a significant portion of Chris’ practice has involved litigation for companies in the oil and gas industry.

Chris’ litigation practice covers a wide-range of practice areas, including oil and gas disputes, business torts, trade secret disputes, FINRA arbitrations, employment matters, and product liability cases. He also maintains an active investigations practice focused on defending companies and individuals in investigations by state and federal regulators and agencies, including clients in the healthcare, communications, and defense industries.

Before Moye White, Chris worked at another Denver law firm, where he gained substantial experience in all phases of civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and class action defense. Before that, he was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of an international law firm, focused on investigations and litigation related to government procurement and the False Claims Act. After law school, Chris served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan G. Braden of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
