As a member of the Trial Section, Karla focuses on general commercial litigation, handling all aspects of a case, from initial assessment, discovery, and depositions, through trial and everything in between.

In addition, Karla researches and advises cannabis (marijuana and hemp) clients on the complex and interconnected federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks. 

Prior to joining the firm, she externed at the Colorado Court of Appeals under the supervision of Honorable Judge Furman. She also studied at the Universidad Pontifica Comillas in Madrid, Spain where she earned a LL.M. in European Business Law. 

Karla is a native Spanish speaker. She is also a licensed florist who enjoys making floral arrangements and choreographs contemporary dance routines.
