Moye White LLP, a leading Denver law firm and Certified B Corp, representing clients in a diverse range of industries, seeks an Accounting Manager with approximately five to ten years of progressively responsible related work experience.
Responsibilities include oversight of daily operations, and compliance with the financial reporting standards and generally accepted accounting principles. The candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience and knowledge of commonly used accounting and financial concepts, practices and procedures within the accounting profession, the ability to meet deadlines and execute with efficiency. Candidate should be able to multitask with changing priorities, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Proficiency with MS Office is required and experience with Aderant software is a plus.
Ideal candidates must be responsive to clients and partners, and accept project responsibility. This individual reports directly to the Director of Finance and has daily interaction with other firm personnel, including supervision of accounting personnel.
Prior law firm experience. A strong understanding of the fundamentals of accounting and procedures that includes AR/AP, balance sheets, reconciliations, financial reporting, and benefits. Proficiency with accounting software programs.
