For two decades, Mark has provided legal representation and sage, practical advice to business entities and individuals on a full range of corporate, real estate, business, and other commercial matters. In the role of outside general legal counsel, Mark also acts as a trusted advisor to decision-makers on the full range of legal and strategic issues facing businesses, both large and small.

Mark has experience advising clients concerning debt, venture capital, private equity, and the private placement of securities. 

For private securities transactions, Mark structures, provides compliance advice, drafts offerings, and manages subscription and compliance documents for equity and debt offerings of exempt and private securities in all industries. Mark also provides general advice concerning the resale of restricted securities, disclosures, and other compliance issues with regard to Federal and State securities laws.

Mark also provides legal advice and negotiates the purchase of interests in private equity firms by institutional investors, businesses, and individuals.  Whether the investment is in the thousands or the millions, Mark can negotiate and protect the rights as an investor as well as the offeror.

In his real estate practice, Mark handles a variety of matters, including:

  • Acquisitions and dispositions of commercial, multi-family, and residential properties

Prior to joining Moye White, Mark worked at an Am Law 200 and various local law firms. Mark also served on active duty in the U.S. Army for four years as a Russian linguist. Mark is an avid volleyball player, snowboarder, tennis player, and road bicyclist.

Mark has given various presentations to real estate brokerage firms, management consultants and trade groups on the use of CREC forms, real estate aspects of governmental entities, and the differences and interplay between owners’ associations and governmental entities.
