Moye White franchise attorneys to offer expert advice
(Denver, Colo., August 22, 2018) - Members of the franchise community from across the state will meet for an engaging and informative panel on data privacy and security. The panel will be held today, August 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Moye White’s Denver office. The media is invited to attend the event.
Moye White Business Co-chair Lynne Hanson will moderate the panel. Panelists include Chris Allyn, partner at Moye White, Rebecca Smock, associate at Moye White, and Tricia Petteys, COO at Payroll Vault Franchising, LLC. The event will educate the attendees on how to avoid data breaches that have become commonplace.
“At Moye White, our franchise attorneys help clients navigate the ins and outs of the franchise industry,” Hanson said. “It is important for us to host events like these that educate the franchise community on issues that could harm their reputation with customers.”
According to Hanson, at least once a quarter a name brand company reports a hack of some kind. Personal information is stolen, and companies are stuck scrambling to figure out how the breach happened and must reassure their customers it won’t happen again.
Panelists and the moderator are available for interview. To learn more about the event, please visit the event homepage.
