DENVER (October 20, 2021) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce partner Charles F. Luce, Jr. spoke on ethics and attorney risk management at the Mile High chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators' (ALA) annual law firm management luncheon on October 19.
During his presentation, Ethics Lessons from the Cockpit, Luce discussed ethics and attorney risk management through the lens of risk management techniques and protocols employed by pilots. He took an in-depth look at competency, trust account management, conflicts of interest, advertising rules, responsibilities of a partner, supervisory lawyer and subordinate lawyers, professional detachment, and independent professional judgment.
In his practice, Luce counsels clients of every size on trademarks, copyrights, computer technology, internet law, licensing, contracts, and other areas of intellectual property.
