Ezra’s approach to the practice of law combines an intense focus on efficient problem solving with a relentless desire to ensure his clients’ success. He has worked extensively with early-stage companies in matters involving equity distribution among founders, early-stage financing and exempt offerings, entity selection and corporate structuring, founder and employee compensation, co-branding relationships, and complex regulatory compliance. Ezra also has a passion for prosecuting trademarks and is an advocate for his clients when dealing with the USPTO.

Before joining Moye White, Ezra worked for a small Denver based law firm, which was itself a startup. This experience gives him a keen understanding of the challenges early companies face, and a great deal of respect for entrepreneurs and business owners of all stripes.

Ezra received his JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School, an institution recognized as a leader in making legal services accessible. Through his studies, he developed an unshakable belief that entrepreneurship is an essential piece to solving the challenges we face as a society.

Outside of the office, Ezra can be found lifting weights at the gym and enjoying a glass of bourbon or dark beer. A native of Pittsburgh, he is a fan of all things Pittsburgh sports, and takes full credit for the Steelers 2006 Super Bowl win, having watched every play that season in the exact same position on the couch.

Representative Matters
  • Representation of a cannabis packaging company involving corporate structuring, financing strategy advice, and the arrangement and structuring of a joint-venture relationship with a large Denver dispensary.
  • Representation of a founder involved in a co-founder dispute which was resolved in the successful negotiation of a large membership interest buyout.
  • Counsel to biopharmaceutical company entering a contract manufacturing arrangement with a leading Colorado dispensary.
