The Newest Associate Joins Firm From 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
(Denver, Colo., October 22, 2019) - Moye White LLP is pleased to announce Diana Sada has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation Section.
Prior to joining Moye White, Sada served as a Deputy District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Arapahoe County. Assigned to a specialty unit – the Domestic Violence Unit, she handled a voluminous felony docket at the District Court level, where she prosecuted cases from their inception through trial and everything in between. During her tenure as a Deputy DA, she successfully tried numerous cases before a jury. In addition, she spearheaded multiple projects, training materials, and initiated creative ideas to train new Deputy District Attorneys alongside supervisors of County Court.
Before joining the 18th Judicial District, Sada worked at a Denver-based law firm that focuses on civil litigation and personal injury, and an Orlando-based law firm that handles complex construction-defect litigation and eminent domain. This experience gives Sada a well-rounded background in litigation.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Diana to our litigation team; her unique experience will be greatly appreciated by our clients and attorneys alike,” said Managing Partner Thomas List.
Since 2016, Sada has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver’s Center for Advocacy. In this role, she assisted in teaching various courses, including Evidence Practicum and Trial Practice Using the Federal Rules of Evidence and Criminal Procedure. She also coached the University’s National Trial Team and traveled with students across the country to compete. Sada is also the Former Assistant Director of the Center for Advocacy; during this time, she managed various aspects of the Center, which is responsible for suggesting courses related to practical learning, trial advocacy, and evidence.
Sada earned her legal degree from the Sturm College of Law of University of Denver in 2013, and her B.A. in international relations at Rollins College in 2009.
This marks the Denver-based firm’s ninth hire in 2019, with five specifically joining the litigation team.
