The Helping Hands Committee Hosted its First 2021 Events
(Denver, Colo., June 7, 2021) – Moye White LLP is pleased to announce the Helping Hands Committee, the firm’s volunteer committee, hosted its first events of the year, both as part of Denver’s Habitat for Humanity Home Repair Days project.
Managing Partner Thomas M. List and firm attorneys Lynne M. Hanson, Daniel C. Wennogle, Kelsey R. Bowers, Bobby W. Dishell, Nick Herrick, Ezra Kramer, and Niki Vinod Schwab assisted with the construction. On the first outing, May 22, the team built a new fence, while the team on the second outing, June 5, constructed a deck, including painting fascia boards and installing frieze boards.
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver currently offers two different home repair programs. The first program focuses on exterior home repairs in 15 metro Denver neighborhoods and often includes a new roof, new siding and paint, porch repairs, and energy efficiency projects such as new doors and windows. The second is an aging-in-place program where Habitat partners with homeowners aged 65+ on interior home modifications, like safety bars, improved lighting, and floor repairs.
